I waited in line for over 25 minutes to check out. There were many employees walking back and forth in the store. They are trying to push you to use the self check out lines. I will not do that. It will take away jobs and I like the personal service. If I am going to check out myself I should get a discount. I will shop other places. There are too many to choose from not to.
I shopped and compared tires and installation fees. I also listened to the feedback of friends and co-workers regarding new tires. Walmart on Pensacola Blvd was awesome. Helped me in choosing tire and placing order as I would get sooner then ordering online myself. They notified me when order arrived so I went Saturday morning before they opened to be 1st in line. I was 3rd. The staff very friendly and informative. I shopped while my tires were done. I couldn't have been happier with the service received. This is my new go to place for my van.
I shared a little Jesus-Christmas Joy at this store today. An employee was walking past and dropped a hundred dollar bill out of his pocket. He didn't notice and was walking away fast. I picked it up and chased him down and returned it to him. When he thanked me I told him it was all because of Jesus!
the employees are very nice and helpful, lots of stuff there, but beware of the parking lot. there are people who roam the parking lot looking for hand outs, one man on bike has approached both me and my mom on different occasions. I felt very concerned for my safety. i saw him looking into someone's empty car window. make sure to lock your doors.
As far as walmarts go, its pretty good! They have the decency to at least pretend to care about customers, unlike about 10 years ago when they hated the sight of paying patrons. Its still moldy smelling back by the eggs but what do you expect for the cheapest place to buy most of your necessities. Being poor like me, this is the best place to go especially when you have a family to feed with a low budget. Also best place to buy car batteries!! Get the 5 year warranty and you will not regret it!! My friend also got a full set of tires for her impala(stock rims) for only about $300 installed!! Like other people have said, be aware of your surroundings in the parking lot and lock your car, as with anywhere in the real world!! That being said, it would be a smart idea to legally concealed carry on this area of town (or anywhere you legally can really).
