Produce and Meat are ok,but not great. Good selection on most everything. Prices are about right.
Most of the cashier's are friendly but this is one of the worst looking and dirtiest grocery stores I've ever seen. They have a few good buys in their ads to draw in customers. I've noticed quite frequently they advertise one price but when you get to the store they have a sign up saying the advertised price was incorrect. If I didn't know any better I'd think they were doing this on purpose. For instance in their Thanksgiving ad they advertised IP Chitterlings at $5.99 but in the store they said it should've been $6.99. Surely an extra dollar from each misinformed customer ads up to quite a bit. I think this need to be looked into and monitored... The meat prices are good but very low quality. I once purchased some marked down ground beef, thought I had a good deal got home and discovered they had pink meat on top but underneath it was brown and green! I took it back and got my money back with a lesson well learned. As others have stated, the grocery in this store is way over priced and I think they take advantage of the fact that most of their customers are low income and using EBT cards! They give nothing back to the community but they take a lot away from them! Barnes take no pride in keeping a clean shopping environment for their customers. Too bad the customers don't demand better!

I've been shopping at Barnes Supermarket All my life. I was Born and Raised in Pensacola Florida and Barnes Supermarket has always been Pleasant to visit and shop. The same Great service I've always experienced, I'm 28 years old now and have a Son of my own he's two and he loves the Emplyees and the Merchandise as well as I do.
