This place has rude receptionists that tell parents to lie about their statuses in order to cover up the staff's inability to properly inform parents of STATE LAWS AND REGULATIONS prior to appointments which then have to be rescheduled(appointments that took MONTHS to get in to), then they get snooty when called out for such illegal and unethical behavior. Appointments are not kept but pushed back multiple times, improper charges and billing goes on by front desk workers and receptionists refusing to issue refunds same day when the services payed for were not even received, and the therapists have no continuity of care as they bounce in and out of this place like popcorn. It's ridiculous and a tragedy for kids and parents that truly need help. I should have trusted my gut instincts and the majority of the super low reviews of this place. If you need immediate, lawful, and continuous care with proper billing and charges DO NOT go here.
I have severe bipolor and the doctor at lakeview refused to see it he told me and i qoute " you have all the symptoms of bipolor exept youre not crazy" yeah and even though it runs in my family my mom has it her aunt has it and her mom has it so another doctor who actually used DSM and surprisingly lakeview was wrong have a good visit at youre very unprofessional hospital.
Beware of incredibly rude receptionist!!! I had never been to the children's building, and upon entering, walked up to the front desk. The girl behind the desk had reddish hair and glasses that were too big for her face. I stood there waiting for her to look up, and when she finally did, she gave me a nasty look and said "Yeah, what?". I was rather taken aback, and stood there for a second trying to grasp what had just happened. I had done nothing to this girl to be received in this manner. She continued to glare at me, so I asked her my intended question and she hastily answered, acting as if I had put her out for having to do her job. I don't know what qualifications Lakeview requires for employees, but I believe they should review their standards.
