I love this place! Super friendly employees that greet you when you enter and make sure you got everything you were looking for. I also admire the pride they take in keeping their store clean and dust free. It's so nice to purchase an item that isn't covered in dust.
Friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. And I think the pricing is competitive with the big box stores, but way closer. Only about three percent of the time did they not have what I was looking for.
I came to this Ace a couple of weeks ago to buy supplies for my new baby chicks. They didn't have a ton to offer as far as feeders and waterers, but I bought what they had. I purchased a two-pack of heat lamp bulbs and the first bulb blew out within 30 minutes of turning it on. Two of my chicks died after owning them a few days so I looked on the feed bag and saw it said store in a cool dry place. This feed was kept in a non-climate controlled storage shed behind the building. Because of the conditions in which the feed was stored, I called the feed company and was send two manufacturers coupons for two free bags of feed. I went back to the Ace despite my experience so far and was told they would not take my coupons because it was against that individual owners store policy because "he doesn't mark it up that much." Regardless of his profit margin on the feed, it wasn't a discount off the price he chose, it was for FREE feed, so the manufacturer would have gave him the full price of whatever he wanted it to be, up to $45! I'm baffled by this Ace owners reasoning for denying me and wasting my time.
