I had 5 stars on here until we got to the self checkout. Ms G was rude when we asked if something was wrong with the register we were on...holding her finger ☝ not speaking a word. Then the plastic bag we put bolts in tore causing the bolts to fall everywhere. She walked over, rolled her eyes at me, then walked off (not offering to help). She does not need to be the last person customers encounter before leaving. But John in the saw area and Kim at the register were very nice.

There is always knowledgeable and friendly staff there to help even the most inexperienced person find what is needed to complete a home project.
Was told a 'hot selling' item was out of stock and not on cue to be re-stocked. Smart. At Lowes this is simple to remedy, they simply put in an order to re-stock and give you a date. At home depot apparently you are S O L. Asked to speak to manager to make sure and they told me he's gone and don't know when he will return. VERY unprofessional and obviously don't care if they get your money or not. 7$hr employees will NEVER care about the business they work for, and manager not there so 'whatever' is the theme of this ball. Watched a guy when i walked in ask some girl where something was and she said 'idk i work in customer service' and walked off LOL! I like their inventory better than Lowes but not enough to put up with TERRIBLE workers. I mean the worst ever. No checks or balances with poor workers as managers gone too. Just overall bad.
My friend D. Greene needed assistance today (10-25). She got it from Mike McHatton, who went above and beyond to help her, and whose kindness was greatly appreciated. He's a very valuable employee!
