The Tuscan Oven has gone downhill. We used to love coming here for the great pizza. We went on a Saturday about 6pm, it wasn't overly packed, but busy. We were seated right away. When my salad came, it was not fresh. The romaine leaves were browning, wilted, and slimy. When the server came to our table to drop off our pizza, she asked if everything was fine and walked immediately away, without waiting for an answer. I had to flag her down to tell her I was unsatisfied with my salad. She was not very receptive and did not come back to our table. We had unfilled drinks, and I had to flag another server down for our check (and this is a small place). The bathroom soap was a foam dispenser refilled with water, and was not clean. Highly unsatisfied and I will not be coming back.
Staying in the area to avoid hurricane Irma and found this place near our hotel. Great pizza and very friendly staff. Owner came over to chat with us and gave us a free round of drinks. Hope we can get back there again before we leave. Dog friendly; there's even a statue of St. Francis on the patio. Highly recommended.
We had them cater our wedding- they were very professional and the food was top-notch. Everything tasted very good and we got many many compliments from the guests on our choice of food for the wedding. We even had leftovers (had about 10 guests not show up after RSVP) and needless to say we enjoyed the next few days eating off of those leftovers! Definitely recommend this restaurant and catering services.
Great food. Great atmosphere. Good prices. Overall a very nice place to get to get together with friends at and come back to. Cheers!
The first time I came here was great. Maybe it was what I ordered. It wasn't too busy, the waitress was attentive. That was a year ago. The food is alright now. I love the pizza. What else am I coming for? The whole place just smells warm and inviting. The doughnut-like dessert probably beat everything else and I don't even like sweets. But is it worth the $$? Nah.
