This barbecue competitor turned business owner makes some mean barbecue. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and while we talked he offered us a sample of some fantastic chili and brisket. Sandwiches are heaped with meat - this definitely isn't the usual food truck portions. He's a veteran and very military friendly too.
As long as B&W BBQ exists and Chef Cowboy is the man behind the grill, I will never eat BBQ from any other establishment in the area... This I swear!
Awesome BBQ, best of local area. Much better than the various chains.
No alcohol served on premises but he said it's BYOB if you want to have a beverage.
Looking forward to going back for some more brisket and chili. He's also opening two more locations which I will certainly enjoy.
Chef Cowboy brought my co-workers and I two huge Togo boxes filled with the biggest ribs I have ever seen, some briscut that smelled heavenly, and some homemade apple spice barbecue sauce!!
B&W is a four Star only because of where it is presently located but when it comes to bar b que Texas style the food is 100 percent Five Star... You have to stop by and try for yourself.
It was such a kind and generous gesture that was compleately unexpected and so very appreciated. It's weird how food brings people together and this particular fare was pure magic.
Being a Texan who transplanted to Pensacola, I had been missing "real" Texas BBQ. I've finally found it! This is, hands down, the best BBQ I've ever had, and it always reminds me of home when I go to B&W BBQ. Cowboy is an amazing Chef. I'll never go anywhere else!!!!
