This place officially just replaced Kappa for me. Awesome. Hey, when 8 crime scene unit vehicles are in the parking lot, it's not because they're on duty. It's because they're enjoying the food!
This place has moved way down on the sushi list. This use to be the place. My wife and I had our first "date" long ago and the sushi was the best intown. This last go the sushi was not very good. Right off the bat a got the tuna roll and the tuna was like smashed tuna like hamburger meat. Cheap grade. Not sure we will be heading back there anytime soon. The service however was very good.
There were other diners that seemed to be regular to Horizen. Good parking lot. The front door is on the left end of the building.
I had a good experience. This is a pleasant, simple restaurant with a large menu with options for non sushi eaters.
Went here with my husband for the all you can eat sushi. The atmosphere was nice and the restaurant was clean; however, the sushi selection on the all you can eat leaves a lot to be desired. The choices were all the same which mostly consisted of cream cheese rolls which were bland. The fish was nice quality would just like to see more variety in the types of rolls offered on the all you can eat. Kappa is my preferred restaurant for all you can eat sushi because they offer many varieties of sushi rolls.
I chose the Ying-Yang Tuna sushi and thought it was delicious and reasonably priced. Maybe a little heavy on sauce. I added the ginger salad.
A friend recommended this place. I got a to go order. I ordered the lobster rolls which was very dry. It wasn't good for the price I paid for it. I wish I had ordered eel sauce or spicy mayo with it. I also found lobster shells while chewing on it which was not very pleasant as I almost broke my tooth chewing on it. My first and last time ordering sushi there. The lady I spoke to on the phone was nice though and very helpful.
