Love the Oar House. We go there quite often. Great fish sandwiches cold beer and a pleasant atmosphere especially in the summer and fall. Lots of outside covered space. There is a place to tie your boat up if you happen to go by boat

Another #LegendaryStreetSoccer Thumbs Up. I went with my 04 boys soccer team...13 families, that all said it was a good pick. Laid back with plenty of room for all the parents, and things to keep kids busy. Shuffle board, volleyball, etc. Food came quick and was good. I aways go with sampler..which included fish, shrimp, grits, and oysters. I enjoyed all of it. Someone mentioned a Louisiana Shrimp dish and said it was outstanding. Definitely will add to our soccer team restaurant list.
Food cooked as I like it (my hamburger has to moo).
Things I appreciated in this restaurant that is affordable for all and unlike many other places that ask for at least twice as much for the same food.
Had a great time today at the Oar House. Always great service. Have been several times and highly recommend to family and friends. Great place to bring out of town visitors, right on water.
I was new to The Oar House but my guest had been there numerous times. Atmosphere was good. The waitress talked so fast neither my guest or I could not really understand what she was saying about all the specials. I ordered the burger cooked medium with jalapenos and pepper jack cheese. When I received it it was more on the well side. The bun was a bit doughy. I noticed that the Tabasco sauce had gone bad, after the meal I showed to the waitress and she replaced it. The french fries were good, but on the cool side when I received my order. If your are going for the atmosphere, good place to go. As far as the quality of the food, it was fair. My guest wasn't too happy with her meal. She got the crab cake meal. The crab cake was a bit smaller that she or I had seen in other restaurants, but it was good. The rest of the food on her plate was not that good, over cooked. She ate the crab cake but not the rest. They had changed the menu and she couldn't find what she normally gets. Which she was a little disappointed.
