The Egg and I has become my girlfriend and I's favorite lunch/brunch place. The food is always amazing and staff are always very accommodating. We have been coming here for well over a year and have never had a bad experience. I highly recommend this place to everyone that asks where to go for breakfast, I will be a lifelong customer. Thank you for providing such excellent service.

Visited this restaurant prior and had a OK experience. Decided to give it another try. Went today at lunch time and its too slow for the lunch rush. Also we ordered water that was presented in a broken and cracked carafe. It tasted like I was drinking iron. Our potatoes were under cooked and greasy. The club was good and I did enjoy it. As we were beginning to stand up at our table to leave 2 workers hovered over us just nipping at the bit for us to move. I felt rushed as if they were pushing us out. " I will add that they were not busy". After about 1 hour prior eating at this restaurant my co-worker had a terrible stomach ache. We will not be back.

Just amazing lunch. I had the egg, avocado, spinach, and bacon omelette and was awesome. Highly recommend. Very good customer service!

Seems I could have went to Waffle House and had the same meal for 1/2 the price. Waiter brings me the check, then tells me her forgot the refill on the orange juice at $3.59 for a 12oz glass. Goes back and adds that. $10 in in orange juice. But still, packaged ham, moderate eggs and a plain pancake. 3 persons - $50. I don't complain hardly ever, but really? Do you want a tip?

A cute little restaurant that is open for breakfast and lunch. Expect a wait if you go during peak breakfast times. The Earlier the better to avoid the wait. Be careful of add one. Anything you add onto your meal like an onion on your sandwich or a sprinkle of cheese in your grits will cost you as much as the whole onion or bag of cheese even though you won't get enough to even flavor your food. Breakfast beverages such as coffee or orange juice also are high priced and pack on your bill. You will leave having had some tasty food but realizing you could have gone to a nice restaurant and got a steak dinner for the same price as your small portioned breakfast here if you aren't careful. Biscuits and gravy have a slight odd sweet flavor probably due to an herb used for flavor so if you are a foodie and really want good buiscuts and gravy, you may not want to choose it as your meal here. The restaurant does offer vegetarian options and seasonal dishes.
