My wife and I absolutely love going to Skopelos at New World! The staff is always extremely friendly and the food is great. They tend to have weekly specials which keeps the menu fresh! If you're looking for a nice place to have a great meal with a beautiful, this is the place to go! They have indoor seating with beautiful glass windows that let in the evening sunset and the covered outdoor seating has a great atmosphere with the outdoor fountain.
Super great service. Everyone is so friendly. 10 STAR service. The dining was eh. We got the Sunday morning Brunch buffet. Everything was just okay. 3 star food. Didn't feel fresh and probably not worth 19.00. Summary: Great Service, Edible Food
And make sure to try the Grouper Cheeks! One of the best items on the menu for sure!
I am currently having dessert and my parents are legitimately fighting over the Chocolate Mousse. This restaurant had great food and splendid service. It was rather quiet when I was here, but I presume they maintain this great service throughout the week. It may appear as though it requires a formal attire, but when open dining, casual attire is definitely accepted. The menu also had a variety of options that suited the needs of a vegetarian as well as the needs of a picky teenager. Overall, this was a great restaurant!
Edit: I'll admit that I initially left this review posthaste. I have edited my review. In hindsight I don't wholly believe there were prejudicial issues, and thinking like that doesn't help anything. I didn't have any other bigoted issues while in Pensacola, and would give this place another try if I visit again.
Wonderful dining. The food is excellent. The people are so nice. My favorite place to dine. A must for anyone looking for fine dining.
Realistically a ZERO, because that's the service we got. After being seated by the hostess, my party of 2 proceeded to twiddle our thumbs while waiting for ANYBODY to even speak to us. After 20 minutes, we decided to leave. They had about 8 other parties and multiple waiters working the floor, but we were barely looked at and literally ignored. With all the positive reviews, I was hoping this place wouldn't disappoint...
