The "special rolls" are way too "much" for my liking; all fried and/or covered in mayo. Makes me wonder why people go to eat sushi... it must certainly not be for the raw fish!
My husband and I have been eating at Tokyo 2 since we moved to Pensacola almost three years ago. We like it so much that when we have a date night away from the kids, this is where we choose to go. The atmosphere is modern but comfortable. They're hibachi is also quite good, and we never had any issues with portion size, personally, as another poster had stated. I really can't say enough about how much we love Tokyo 2. It's our go-to dinner out place.
Restaurant can get a bit noisy, since hibachi tables are located in the middle of the room.

Decent sushi. I love the simple, clean rolls, sashimi and seaweed salad. Staff is always friendly and welcoming.
It was my wife's birthday, and we had a party of 15. When our waiter took our drink order, he said we should order everything right away so he could get the chef out. So we did. Drinks came out, but we were missing two. We waited, but finally had to ask another server about our missing drinks because our server had not returned. We waited a full hour before being served cold soup. Fifteen minutes later, we got our salads (drowning in dressing rather than with it on the side as I had asked for mine). Five minutes later, I spoke with the front desk about my experience, and the front desk gentleman told me that he did not have enough staff because I had not made a reservation. No apology about the service, except he said he would talk to the waiter about the cold soup. After 1 hour and 45 minutes (after being seated), there was still no chef. We cancelled our hibachi order and asked for the chef (we had also ordered sushi). The server took 10% off our bill and, of course, included an 18% gratuity. We have been long-time customers, but tonight was our last visit. Very bad food and service, and the manager (I assume) basically blamed us because we had a large party and he did not have enough staff.
Nothing to complain about here, I've come here on multiple occasions and I've never had a bad experience. Haven't had a chance to sit at the hibachi table since I mostly go for the sushi but I've seen some of the chefs in action and they're very talented.
