Perdido Key’s hottest restaurant is ”Islander Food Shack”. This place has everything. Giant burgers, delicious fries, fresh seafood, classic beach atmosphere, service with a smile. Give it a shot and I promise it won’t disappoint.
Poboys & grilled shrimp were very good. Homemade fries loved by adults but not the kids. Service was a little slow & they were not crowded.
Great place to go if you want a great burger on a Florida Style Beach feel, great beer, Bushwacker, margaritas. It is everything you can ask for. owned and locally operated business. My family will be eating here again and repeatedly for the coming years. It is absolutely a diamond in the rough, hidden, if you haven't tried them. I would urge you to do so ,you would not go wrong.
Pleasantly surprised by the flavor and freshness of the food. Great grouper basket and great grouper sandwich. Good fries. Small place with indoor and outdoor seating. Fairly easy to find.
Cute little place and very conveniently located! I ordered the Hawaiian Burger and it was fantastic. The ranch dressing that I asked for was absolutely phenomenal. Their fries were perfect. I was a little bummed that they happened to be out of the meat pies during our visit, but the friendly staff and fun atmosphere more than made up for it. If I ever find myself in that region again, I'll be back at the Islander Food Shack for more!
