My dog loves this place. I'm not really fond of all the sand but it is 100% shaded with dogs running around all the time, so that is to be expected. There are benches and a couple of picnic tables for humans.
Everytime I've been there have been at least 5 dogs in both areas, friendly owners and everyone cleaned up after their pets. We try to go at least once a week.
My doggy thouroughly enjoys this park! So many dog friends to play with and friendly dog owners!
There are two fenced in areas. One for big dogs and one for small dogs. There are plenty of tennis balls and water bowls. There are also doggie-poo bags and a garbage can for disposal.
Every time I've gone here it's been wonderful except for the dog owners. On all occasions, when I pull up to the small dog park, large dogs are in there. As I'm approaching, they decide they better leave. They're so used to this that while I was there I had an owner approach with both of his large dogs. I told him that the sign posted indicates that the small dog park is for dogs UNDER 25 lbs. He said that he recently had his dogs weighed and that they're under 25. I said, "Really??" I told him that my little dog which was a 1/4 of his dog's size, weighs 18. Try to tell me your dog is under 25? He got rude and left. On another occasion, an owner came in with her two dogs that were clearly over 25 lbs and I thought I would ease up a bit and allow it. My two little dogs were so frightened from these dogs that seemed to be on crack running around the grounds immediately upon entering. I had to carry one of my dogs out because they didn't want to stay anymore. Up until that, we were having a great time. Honestly I think that this world is so full of selfish people who don't care about anyone but themselves.
Great location, nice people, well socialized dogs
Very spacious but not a good place to bring your dog if you have an inside dog.
