Sites were a little hard to get into with a 38' 5th wheel. The park itself is very private and serene. Beautiful place
Good place to stay. Nice and helpful staff. I loved how courteus they were. Very quiet and nice campers too. Very clean restrooms. Just three things: racoons will steal your food and try to go when its a bit colder as the mosquitoes will bite you everywhere. Also, the site description says it is gravel. Actually it is just dirt and when it rains it turns into nasty mud Other than that its a good place. May be back but will choose very specific sites to camp.
Plenty of paths to walk. The trails are full of views. Pet friendly, rangers are amazing and helpful. Boat launch is easy, paddle board rental kayak rentals. Showers restroom at every pavilion. Very clean place.
Really pretty park. They have well maintained boardwalks, hiking trails, kayak and canoe rentals. Bring your bug spray! Open 8am until dark. Admission One person $4. Vehicle 2-8 people $6. Walk/bike-in $2.
Great place to visit or camp. Each camping spot is somewhat separated by trees and brush with plenty of room. The shower facilities are well placed and clean. There is a small "general" store with camping supplies and they will even deliver to your site. There is a good truck near the bay area with low cost nabs. This is also where you rent kayaks and canoes. The park is also within few minutes drive of several public beach locations.
