I have very coarse hair, so she did a great deep conditioner on my hair.
This review is on behalf of my client. She recently moved to Florida and just wanted to go somewhere for a quick color refresh since she won't be coming back home for a few more weeks. She's extremely nervous about new people working on her hair.

Using my husbands google account, but I went in today for a haircut and keratin treatment. The place was really nice, the staff was extremely friendly, and I was in and out pretty quickly. I highly recommend Kirsten. She was great. A bit expensive but worth it for sure :)
I was very satisfied with my first experience at Style Downtown. I am glad a friend recommended me and now I feel confident enough to keep going there. Everyone was so polite and sweet, easy to get to know. As someone with naturally curly hair that likes to style it in different ways, the cut matters, and the person styling your hair matters, a bad cut can not only ruin your day but the time it takes to grow it back out, and I only have the best to say about Style Downtown. I am definitely going to be coming there from now on for all my style needs.
First time going to Style Downtown. Lovely place! I had Renee for my stylist, she was wonderful! She did a great consultation. Rene also did a wicked fantastic job on my hair.
I sent her instructions or a guide on the colors the new stylist should use; a basic root touch up & a toner formula that should seem simple to any stylist, regardless of if this woman has been in the business long or not, right? Nope. Even with a step by step guide; my client informed me the girl seemed confused and nervous about my process. She ended up leaving with a flat red color instead of the vibrant copper she has been. She's extremely unhappy with it & is coming home early so I can fix it. I'm not one to rip on other stylists, but the fact they charged her $150 for a REFRESH is beyond me. That's ridiculous. just because someone works at a fancy salon, doesn't mean they should charge that much. Unfortunately, she didn't get what she paid for.
Nice friendly shop. I don't like hair cuts in general. Gotta get em once and awhile.
I already booked 2 more appointments with Rene.
