Cool stuff, great sandwiches (they're not cheap), and a large assortment of imported goods. The owner would try to sell ice to Eskimos if he could, but he's a good businessman. Remember, you can say, "No, thank you".
WARNING: This place is a real market. A real market is where you buy and haggle for items. You have to talk to the owner. He will offer and suggest items. You can say NO. You can negotiate prices and ask for smaller or bigger portions. There is nothing wrong with this. In fact, I actually enjoy doing this with the owner. He's a great guy and fun to talk to. If you don't agree with the price, TELL him. He'll work with you. Other that, best place to shop for international food.
The best hidden deli in town. The owner is a real people person and dedicates his time to his customers, this may come off as pushy; but he's genuinely a very nice man. Amazing food, and an awesome selection of wines, and finger foods.
Fantastic food, lot's of specialty items, knowledge service. You'll spend way more than you expected but walk out happy.
Best gyros in town and around. The dips and spreads are awesome. I usually go in, order a gyro with extra meat and with artichoke hearts, browse and find a beer or two, then eat and drink in the store at one of the few tables. And yeah, the owner is pushy, but he's nice about it...if you just want to grab something and go, or eat a sandwich in peace, he'll leave you alone. Just tell him what your plans are.
