I've always loved cycling but have never had a quality bike. I would just go through cheap throwaways year after year. Then, a few months ago my dad lost his ability to continue running and took up cycling to replace it. He came to this shop after visiting one or two others and said he'll always come here from now on! He's purchased two bikes for a great price and loved them both, and it's wonderful to see how much he loves biking now. (I told him so for years! Lol.)
I have been to other shops around the area and while they are all good, the people at Ride More really bring it all together. Supurb selection, competitive prices, and a knowledgeable and genuinely dedicated staff. My husband and I just purchased 2 Specialized Sports-Hybrid bikes from the folks at Ride More Bicycles. What a great experience from start to finish. We had actually purchased 2 helmets from them a few months ago and when it came time to purchase new bikes, we chose them from the other shops in town--they had the bikes we wanted and most important, delivered excellent customer service. We love the vibe of the employees: helpful, knowledgeable and not pushy; we love the layout of the store--not too crowded with inventory but enough inventory to find something to try out before ordering specifics. Great store for Pensacola riders...these guys know bikes.

Fast forward to a week ago. My dad showed me his bikes and I finally caved and decided I wanted to get my own for my daily 9 mile work commute. It was horrible to do on the old rickety cruiser I had. But, I am super shy and know nothing about real bikes so I put it off, fearing being taken advantage of in my ignorance and actually working with a salesperson at all. My dad assured me that these guys were very friendly and never made him feel bad going in as a novice, so I took a chance. When I finally stepped into the shop, the staff was very friendly and welcoming. I worked with a guy named Ryan who helped me get a Specialized Ariel, and made sure I got everything from the correctly sized frame, to the best kind of drink holder. They never made me feel bad for my lack of knowledge, and I left feeling a lot more confident with a fantastic bike (on sale too!), as well as waves and encouragement from the staff for my ride. I've been back since for a helmet and they remembered my name, and I'll be going back today to get my bike a checkup. They insisted I bring it in after the first few rides to make any needed adjustments. They're very thorough. My rides to work have never been smoother, and I no longer fear going in and talking to people on my own. I know I'm always welcome there. They even remembered my dad and which bikes he bought, and asked me how he was enjoying them.
They all say their goal is to get people to ride more bikes, and as my dad and I can both attest, they certainly are achieving it!
