I've now attended service here twice, once during lunch and once during dinner. Both were an equally pleasant experience, and this is not only due to the food but the service as well. My Hamburger during lunch was excellent, cooked to the perfect temperature, medium rare, and paired with a fresh salad to help lift the dish and offset the rich and fatty burger. During dinner there was a slight mix up on how the steak was to be cooked and the resolved it in a timley manner, and the only critique I have is the risotto was a bit over done and soft. The good food and extensive wine list to boot creates a nice casual to semi-formal open dining experience you're sure to enjoy.
We've eaten most things on the menu over time and never had a bad experience, but our favorite thing to do here is to order the small charcuterie board - three meats, three cheeses, some fruit, nuts, jams, mustards, baguettes, cracker bread. The last time we got olives and giant white beans. It's way too large for two people to order as a starter, but the perfect size for a meal for two people and it's different every time. That and a couple of glasses of wine (great wine menu, by the way) create the perfect end to a hectic day.
One of my favorite places for a quick after-work dinner with my other half. Wednesdays are a little hard if you don't scoot in there right after work, because the outside tables are reserved for a running club, and the inside isn't very large.
Tremendous wine list. Hazell Vineyards Pinot was a highlight. ArteZin, draught from the barrel. The act of pouring draft wine aerates it completely. Killer charcuterie and great ahi tuna burger. Nice staff, good atmosphere.
Happy Hour(s) from 11 am to 7 pm. Great selection of wines, cocktails. Small plate, tapas style meals are perfectly portioned.
