As an employee at Pensacola State College, I am very pleased with my experience as an employee and a father of a student on campus. Coming from the for-profit side of education, I was very impressed with the windfall of services this college has to offer. This is my first time reviewing an actual place of employment but after seeing “older” reviews of the college, I had to write something so share with others in this community that PSC is not the same college your parents attended. PSC has truly stepped up the customer services and has placed a lot of renewable energy into their degree programs. PSC is very affordable and with over 100 degrees and technical programs to choose from, they have programs for everyone. Overall, my experience is very positive, the instructors are knowledgeable, informed on the industry specs, and how it is changing. Call and schedule a tour and have our new Student Ambassadors show you the campus and great programs.

Great for some, not for all. I wouldn't listen to any advisors. They're just there to waste your time and tell you to take the wrong classes you don't need.

Excellent staff in all areas! My teachers were awesome, their guidance counselors were awesome, their janitors were friendly, etc. I really enjoyed my time at PSC and I graduated with my Associates in December 2016. I miss it!

Affordable classes, great professors, central location. Online or classes on site. Yes, some of the admin are rude and what I call "Pensacola Stupid", a condition where the locals have this massive chip on their shoulder and seem to be under the influence of drugs or a massive entitlement disorder, but MOST of the admin were really good at their jobs. I would recommend this school but suggest students know your rights and persist politely and professionally when someone is being unprofessional or incompetent at their job. Administrators of this college are serious about providing a good, affordable college education and PSC is a great place to start or finish one.

Please save your money and pay a little more and attend a better school. In the 8 weeks I have been at the Pensacola campus, I have physically seen and heard teachers talking about students, saying they love veterans because it's guaranteed money, I'm self pay, obviously my money isn't good enough. Some of the teachers are hypocrites. It's ok for them to talk about certain things but the minute you do it, you're scolded for it. You are forced to compete in competitions even when you don't want to participate. Unfortunately, I can't speak for the other campuses only Pensacola. Luckily I am done in December and never have to step foot back into this place.
