Love the new library and coffee shop! Staff is helpful and nice only negative too many times we have to wait in line because there is only one person at the checkout counters.
But seriously, this place is pretty cool. Thousands upon thousands of books, friendly staff, nice building, plenty of places to sit with some outlets for laptops, public/private rooms for studying and meetings, and more. The selection is definitely more older books, however there's still some cool stuff there and their online catalog is extremely helpful.
A nice selection of children and youth books, and it is very inviting with lots of chairs and nooks to read in, as well as private study rooms that you can sign in for when available. They also have public rooms that you can use for meetings and events. Staff and volunteers are always friendly and helpful.

I love that there are bike tools and a tire pump available for public use outside the entrance of the main Pensacola Library... シ
Wonderful staff! Handled the eclipse event with calm resolve amongst a lot of complaints. The tone and demeanor of the staff set for a very good, relaxed, and friendly event. I appreciate them being willing to take suggestions for future library events, such as handing out tickets at open as people come through the door. Still 5 stars because no events are perfect.
