While the people were friendly. The building needs remodeled. The rink needs complete refinishing. Playset is gross must be removed .needs new skates tables hand rails lockers and adult supervision lacking with teens making out in hidden spaces completely unacceptable. The rink is large and the space has huge potential. I'm exited to hear about the renovation that is underway . It can only be a good thing. Can't wait to see the improvements. Hopefully the staff will be upgraded as well. I would like to see progress posted on website. Good luck landmark I'll be back to see how awesome you become .

I'd like to start by saying that yes it needs to be renovated and is in desperate need of new skates! The place needs to be cleaned properly and same goes for the snack bar area. It may be ran by younger kids, and they may need some adult supervision but there is absolutely NO reason (whatsoever) to call them names! They're humans and deserve to be treated as such! Every single one of them have great characteristics about themselves and contribute those qualities in the best way possible! They may lack manners but I contribute that to lack of adequate adult supervision at work and at home! They can only behave the way they're taught! So don't contribute to their lack of manners by calling them names and blaming them for their work environment. They have to show some qualities in life by their work ethic, after all, they are working for a paycheck instead of working the streets like (What y'all call them)hood rats and thugs! I say that If you don't agree with their social skills, get involved and help them instead of beating them down further!!!

The staff is so gosh damn rude don't go there

In all honesty I am surprised that this place is even in business. Firstly, the parents had to pay to go in to watch their children even though they were not skating. The fact that you have to pay twenty- five dollars for your aunts and uncles to supervise is ridiculous. The rental skates are DISGUSTING. They look they they came from the 1950's, and they are SO bumpy and dirty. I went through three pairs that were so broken that I broke down and paid an extra two dollars for the speed skates, which, might I add, the staff never stayed behind the counter, so I had to wait for them. The entire place has a strong and pungent odor of pure feet. Then, when you actually get to the skate floor, there are holes, missing chunks of wood, and no handrails all around the sides. It is very dangerous. The carpet outside the rink is frayed and worn, visibly dirty. Went to the bathroom? No toilet paper, no paper towels. Of course they had a concessions stand, that was closed the entire time we were there. I really could have used something to drink after skating in that place, because to top it all off, there is only three air vents right next to each other to cool off HALF of the skate floor. It was as hot as it was outside while we were skating, and in Florida? Thats hot! I would never recommend this place to other people. You want to go skating in Florida? Go to Dreamland. Its on the other side of Pensacola, however it is worth it. It is much cleaner and more fun for the entire family. Landmark is on its last leg. I don't think it will last much longer.

P.S*****I have read many of the reviews and the main thing that stands out to me is; Almost every single review that mocked the children and called them names are not very well educated!!! Your, punctuation, spelling, grammar etc, needs brushing up on!!!! So you see, the children working there aren't the only ones in need of help! Don't throw stones!

I have never done an online review before however, I was extremely disappointed. We were in from out of town visiting family. Looking for something to do with young kids in the middle of the hot day. We got there an hour after they opened, heat index outside was 105. Got inside and it was so hot it felt as though we would suffocate. I asked about the air and was told that they just turned it on (how can you turn it off at night when you have a heat advisory everyday? That large space would take forever to cool off. They were only scheduled to be open from 11-4 that day. We were there at noon). The place was empty, lights on the rink were dark, place felt dirty and extremely run down. We had to exchange skates twice because the wheels were not spinning well, I couldn't lace mine all the way up because the laces were broken. We too had to pay for all people with us, even 73 year old Grandma who did not want to skate. It was so hot that my 6 year old daughter became extremely sick from heat exhaustion after being in there less than 35 min. We had to rush out because she was about to faint and needed to get someplace cool immediately. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
