They refused to sell to me because they figured I was buying for them, which I was not. Just because the girl behind the counter looked like she would contribute to a minor, I never would. I'm a better uncle than that. The girls just came in the store with me to avoid sitting in the car. If this was the case, they could have told us when we walked in or they could post a sign on the door, NO ONE UNDER 21 PERMITTED. That would have avoided this entire rude and unnecessary experience. I understand how things can look, but there were other ways of handling the situation that would not have resulted in an unsatisfied customer and my unsatisfied rating for this establishment. We just bought a condo in gulf breeze and I will make certain all my friends, family, and neighbors are made aware of this.
This is a great liquor store! The gentleman who runs the place helped me pick out a nice cognac as a present for my brother and he even said my brother could bring it back (after opening it!) if he didn't like it. I'm not sure this would work on everything they sell but it was pretty much the nicest cognac they had. Anyway, the prices are spectacular (best in town I think) and the service is even better. The only thing is the store is a bit dingy but I suppose you don't go to a liquor store for the atmosphere.
Great selection, good prices, and.and found my favorite beer (grapefruit sculpin) for two dollars cheaper than normal.
Wonderful liquor store with a broad selection of alcohol and wine. Some decent local and microbrewery beers available. Mark up is fair. Operating hours are a bonus.
