This was my first time ever going to a Greek festival and I'm sure it won't be my last. It was a great experience and a great way to experience new things and support a church. We had drove by on Saturday around 5 pm and it was packed and the same could be said for Sunday around 1pm. Parking was easy and $3. A few tents were lined up along the street for vendors. Some had olive oil, Greek style snacks, bread, personal care products. Shave ice trucks were seen. We immediately got in line for the dinner. I got the grilled chicken meal that came with orzo and green beans. Hubby got the Pastitso. Everything was very good. My chicken was moist. The green beans was flavorful. The orzo seemed kind of mushy to me but my daughter enjoyed it. The pastitso was really good and flavorful. I've never tasted anything like it and I really enjoyed it. While eating we watched the youth dance and listen to music. Afterwards we got dessert to go and baklava ice cream to enjoy while there. The baklava was really good! I definitely look forward to next year.
Food was okay. A little different from what I remember from a couple of years ago. This is the Polish sausage
We attended the annual Greek festival today. Everyone was friendly and the gyros and calamari were fantastic!!
