This restaurant is awesome! The quality, quantity, presentation and taste of the food here is 5 stars all the way. Please make reservations because on the weekends it can get crowded and with good reasons. The owner comes out with home made tiny muffins of different flavors to curb you appetite until seated. Awesome hosts!
This place is an interesting one! They have pretty cool items on their menu ranging from breakfast type to lunch/dinner. The decor and cleanliness of the place was nice, as well as the wait staff. I got the blueberry lemon goat cheese pancakes, which I had no idea what to expect! However, they ended up being really good! They were pretty sweet, but the goat cheese and lemon added a different dimension to the flavor. If you're looking for a great breakfast or brunch, definitely try it here!
We skipped the line via Yelp (life saver) and only waited about 5 minutes, instead of 40 like everyone else. The food and service were amazing. I was surprised by the quality. I figured it would be another chain restaurant with basic food. I was surprised to say the least. Will try them again when I'm back in Pensacola.
Every time I come here, I am not disappointed. Great food, menu, and service. Clean and clean bathrooms. Excellent breakfast choices and preparation with that Louisiana kick on many menu items but not all. Don't be disswayed. City grits on the side can almost meal in itself. Gotta try those. There are several other places and this one is tied for 1st place.
First time trying this location out this morning and I absolutely loved it. I had the biscuits and gravy meal with eggs, city grits instead of diced potatoes and the patties sausages. Man was it was like a meal from your grandmother house. This place gets my vote for best breakfast joints around Pensacola (non-commercial). I told my waitress Alexa that I would be back. And their coffee was a little strong, but once I added my creamer and sugar it was perfect. If your ever in Pensacola please stop by....you want be disappointed! Oh and by the way the atmosphere here at ABE is very soothing and calm. I would go again just to have a cup of coffee!
