Good breakfast. I ate it all (see happy plate photo). They mixed up the eggs I ordered with another plate at the table, but we switched eggs and all was good. It was pretty crowded when we arrived and it looked like they may not have been prepared for the crowd from the Race for the Cure that came in before us.
A place my parents frequent EVERY Sunday after church. The customer service is superb and the food is delicious. And lots of it. When I'm in town I accompany the family to the Village Inn, knowing a nap is in order after we return home! LOL
Went there this morning 10/29/17 over a 45 minute wait for food. Get food and not as ordered. Ham was a nasty little piece of scrap, all fat and bone, eggs where supposed to be 2 hard fried and where dump fried, hash browns had enough grease to fry a large batch of chicken. If I had wanted scrambled eggs I would have ordered them that way. Disgusting food and building is run down and dingy. Absolutely do not recommend eating there. Damn shame we had to come home and cook for ourselves when we really wanted a nice breakfast out.
I have had good experiences in the past in getting tasty comfort foods that are breakfast foods or hearty meals like country fried steak. on my last visit though I came after reviewing their menu online. once there I was informed that they didn't have any of the Mexican inspired items that their online menu contained. I left and went to a different restaurant.
This place is nasty. Kids wanted breakfast food so we took them. My ruben sandwich was burnt. My wife's food was sour. My kids food was old and we waited forever. The waitress was scooping ice out of the bin and she used her hands to help hold it on the scoop. The kids fruit bowl had a film on it that looked like its old fruit. She took it back and was using her hands to pick from the other strawberry tray. place is ran down and had a mildew smell. If you don't want your customer to see whats going on in the kitchen then don't sit them by it with the doors wide open.
